- it is situated in the southeastern part of England
Celtic period
- they stayed in the area of Wales
- nowadays English in Wales is quite similar to old Celtic languages, The Celtic heritage (dědictví) is the strongest felt (plst) in Wales
- they divided into:
1) Irish (in the north)
2) Welsh (stay)
3) Gaelic (spread around)
– very small kingdoms
- strict rules for being together
- Queen Bodicea – led Britons against the Romans
- she is said to be a bloody person but in fact she was very clever
- she had a very attractive daughter - she used her in the fight
- 800 BC - 43 AD
